Robert Niezgoda is the Director of the Taney County Health Department. He earned a Masters in Public Health from Missouri State University in 2004. He is a graduate of the Missouri Public Health Leadership Institute (2010) and has led the Taney County Health Department through the public health accreditation processes of the Missouri Institute for Community Health and the National Public Health Accreditation Board.

Niezgoda has been a guest lecturer at Missouri State University, Cox College of Nursing, and the College of the Ozarks.  He is currently a board member of Jordan Valley Community Health Center, Faith Community Health Center, the Ozarks Wellness Network, Missouri Public Health Association, and Missouri Institute for Community Health.
