Clay Goddard, MPA

Clay Goddard is currently the Senior Director of Public Health Transformation for Missouri Foundation for Health. He previously served at the Springfield-Greene County Health Department since 1996 in a variety of roles. He was Director of Public Health and Welfare there from 2017 to 2021.

 

His education includes a Masters degree in Public Administration and a Bachelors degree in Political Science from Missouri State University. He is a graduate of the Missouri Public Health Leadership Institute and Leadership Springfield. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member with Drury University. 

 

Clay is a member of the American Public Health Association and National Association of City and County Health Administrators. He serves on the board for Community Partnership of the Ozarks and Co-chairs the Community Investment process for the United Way of the Ozarks. Clay is also a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.

 

Clay and his wife Cindi have three children - Alora, Bryson and Ashley.
