Andrew Hoffman is the Administrator of the Andrew County Health Department. He brings 26 years of Public Health Experience with the first several years spent as an Environmental Specialist in Warren County before becoming the Administrator of the Andrew County Health Department in 2014. In his current role he is responsible for programming, strategic planning, budgeting, financial operation, personnel and administrative management of the local health department.

He is a past recipient of the Rookie Sanitarian of the Year (1998), Presidents Award from Missouri Milk, Food, and Environmental Health Association (2010), and a past President for the Missouri Milk, Food, and Environmental Health Association, as well as a 2020 Leadership Savannah graduate.

He has a passion for his community and staff engagement, he prides himself in building a strong team and effectively supporting them to provide excellent programing and services for the community. In his free time he can be found spending time with his family including his wife Debbie, 3 daughters, and 2 wonderful granddaughters. He is also an outdoor enthusiast with any additional free time spent looking for gold, artifacts, or semi-precious gemstones in one of his many secret spots.
